    For consumers across the US, the mobile phone has quickly become the vehicle of choice for communicating with brands and marketers online. Consumers today engage with brands through mobile apps and email on their mobile devices, more often than they do through their desktop or laptop computers. On the mobile device, itself, consumers clearly prefer apps to the mobile web as demonstrated by metrics like time spent, conversion rate and average order value – all significantly higher in apps than on mobile web, or, in many cases, even desktop.
